His portfolio includes projects across the residential, industrial, healthcare, education, and construction sectors. Aidan has successfully delivered work on developments ranging from small private schemes to large-scale mixed-use projects, with values spanning from £100K to £200M.
Aidan is known for his practical and methodical approach to consultancy and environmental monitoring. He has extensive experience in both areas, complemented by his involvement in planning processes, including attendance at planning committees of varying scale and complexity. His ability to provide clear, expert advice in both technical and public-facing environments is a valuable addition to the Wave Dynamics team.
James Mangan Director (Acoustics)
We are delighted to welcome James Mangan as Director of Acoustics. James brings over 25 years of industry experience and is widely recognised for his specialist expertise in renewable energy, particularly wind farm noise impact assessments.
Throughout his career, James has led and contributed to projects across the full lifecycle of wind energy developments, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), commissioning, and noise complaint investigations. His work is underpinned by a strong command of large-scale environmental noise modelling and the practical application of relevant guidance and legislation.
In addition to his renewables expertise, James has extensive experience in data centre (DC) acoustics and building acoustics, supporting complex commercial and infrastructure projects. His work in these sectors includes detailed acoustic design, compliance assessments, and performance verification, ensuring that developments achieve both regulatory standards and high levels of occupant comfort.
James’s multidisciplinary experience—from early-stage feasibility through to operational compliance—allows him to deliver pragmatic, robust acoustic solutions across a wide range of sectors. His appointment significantly strengthens Wave Dynamics’ capability in renewable energy, data centre developments, and the built environment, supporting clients in delivering sustainable, high-performing projects.
Strengthening Our Future
These appointments mark an important step in Wave Dynamics’ continued growth and expansion. With James and Aidan on board, we are well-positioned to further enhance our service offering, particularly in the areas of renewable energy, large-scale development, and cross-sector acoustic consultancy.
We look forward to the expertise, leadership, and insight they will bring as we continue to deliver innovative and reliable solutions for our clients.
