Crack Monitoring Services
At Wave Dynamics, we provide specialist Crack Monitoring services across Ireland and the UK. With offices in Dublin, Wexford, Cork, Belfast and London, and a strong presence in Galway, we help developers, contractors, engineers and property owners monitor structural movement and protect buildings, infrastructure and other sensitive assets.
Our monitoring programmes provide accurate and reliable data on structural cracking and movement, supporting construction projects, asset management and engineering investigations. Whether monitoring neighbouring properties during construction works or assessing existing structural defects, we deliver clear reporting and practical insights to help clients manage risk and make informed decisions.
Professional Crack Monitoring Solutions
Crack monitoring is used to measure changes in crack width and structural movement over time, helping determine whether cracking is stable, active or progressing.
Monitoring may be required where structures are potentially affected by:
- Excavation and groundworks
- Demolition activities
- Tunnelling and underground works
- Ground movement and settlement
- Adjacent construction activities
- Structural loading changes
- Infrastructure and utility projects
By establishing baseline conditions and tracking changes over time, we provide valuable information to support engineering assessments and risk management.
