Vibration Monitoring
At Wave Dynamics, we provide specialist vibration monitoring services for construction, demolition, infrastructure, utilities and industrial projects across Ireland and the UK. With strategically located offices in Dublin, Wexford, Cork, Belfast and London and a presence in Galway, our experienced environmental consultants deliver accurate, real-time vibration monitoring that helps clients protect nearby structures, maintain regulatory compliance and minimise the impact of construction activities on surrounding communities.
Using advanced monitoring technology and industry-leading equipment, we measure and assess vibration levels in accordance with recognised Irish, UK and international standards. Whether monitoring excavation works, piling, blasting, tunnelling or heavy construction activities, our team provides reliable data, expert analysis and practical recommendations to support safe and compliant project delivery.
Construction Vibration Monitoring
Construction and demolition activities can generate ground-borne vibration that has the potential to affect neighbouring buildings, infrastructure and sensitive equipment. Wave Dynamics provides continuous and attended construction vibration monitoring to help contractors and developers manage these risks throughout every stage of a project.
Our real-time monitoring systems provide instant access to live vibration data and automated alerts when pre-defined trigger levels are exceeded, allowing project teams to respond quickly, implement mitigation measures and maintain compliance with planning conditions and environmental requirements.
Structural & Building Vibration Monitoring
Protecting surrounding properties is a key consideration on many construction and infrastructure projects. Our structural vibration monitoring services measure vibration levels affecting residential properties, commercial buildings, heritage structures and critical infrastructure to assess the potential for cosmetic or structural damage.
By providing accurate, continuous monitoring data, we help clients demonstrate compliance with project specifications, reduce the risk of disputes and provide confidence to stakeholders throughout construction works.
Real-Time Remote Vibration Monitoring
Wave Dynamics delivers advanced real-time vibration monitoring solutions that provide continuous measurement, secure cloud-based data access and automated notifications when vibration limits are approached or exceeded. This enables project teams to remotely monitor site activities, make informed decisions and maintain full visibility of environmental performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Our remote monitoring systems are particularly valuable for long-term construction projects, rail and road infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy developments and urban construction sites where continuous monitoring is essential.
Vibration Monitoring for Planning & Compliance
Our vibration monitoring services support planning applications, environmental compliance, construction management plans and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs). We provide robust monitoring programmes that satisfy planning conditions, regulatory requirements and project-specific environmental commitments.
Working closely with developers, contractors, consulting engineers, architects and local authorities, our consultants deliver detailed reports containing comprehensive data analysis, compliance assessments and practical mitigation recommendations that support successful project delivery.
