Project Overview
The project includes a new extension to the existing fourth floor and fifth floor. This includes internal alterations of the existing fourth floor, and elevation alterations of the existing fourth floor at the Pembroke Hotel, Patrick Street, Kilkenny. Phase 2 will consist of the installation of the roof insulation and roof finish to the new steel frame, as constructed under Phase 1, along with the construction of the external walls to the perimeter of the development on fourth floor.
The project targeted a very high level of acoustic performance in keeping with its high end reputation. Wave Dynamics provided the full acoustic design for the new extension, this included specification of the wall and floor constructions, acoustic design for the mechanical services, guidance on the façade requirements and planning advice.
